Flowers have been culturally coded as a romantic gesture. So when we want to show a friend we appreciate them, we send a meme or text. We rarely think to send flowers. And because men are connecting with their friends through gaming, we’re teaming up with one of gaming’s biggest names to bring physical appreciation into the world of online friendship.
Quick Context
Xbox is the face of gaming passion right now. Their main competitor has boldly ditched physical discs, leaving Xbox as the only brand still showing appreciation for their customers.
Starting The Trend
We’ll start by partnering with the biggest streamers in the world and getting them to send a gaming friend their flowers.
Inside the boxes are FreshSends flowers and a random Xbox reward.
After the streams go live, we’ll open dedicated Reddit and Discord servers for gamers to share their appreciation for a fellow gamer.
Lucky gamers in these servers will be chosen and have free FreshSends X Xbox packages sent to their friends.
Because sending flowers is cool, obviously.
Social
The LAN Party
We’ll host a gaming party in the local FreshSends flower farm in California.
Popular gamers who helped start the sending flowers trend, will host an Xbox LAN party with the streamers they sent flowers to.
The party will be streamed for all to see this new connection between gaming and appreciation.
